Just about a month longer before Brian gets home. This time being away has actually flown by and for that I am super grateful. I have gotten to enjoy the beautiful sight of snow both at my parent's house last weekend and here as well, which is pretty unusual for this area of Virginia. I am however looking forward to the spring, especially some quality time with Brian.
Silly as it may be I am grateful for Sampson to keep me company, along with some new friends, and some potential work. I start babysitting a cute little girl next week, and even though it is just for a few hours a week, it is something. I also have a second job interview on Tuesday. I was surprised when they called me back for a second interview considering the loads of applicants and first time interviews that they conducted. We will see about that one; I won't be devastated if I don't get it, just am flattered to be in the top running for now. Its not the most ideal job, but you take what you can get these days. I have really started to pray about where God wants me in the next coming years. I definitely need more boldness and initiative if what my dreams are match up to Gods plan for me, because it can be a little daunting to take the necessary steps AKA student loans, passing grades, not being a failure.
Well I will leave you with my final thought and of course it has to be random because randomness defines my pee brain: I am not really fond of the phrase, “I’m going to be the bigger person.” It seems a little presumptuous. How about strive to have a humble loving and kind heart?
