Wishing You Back Soon

I am writing this to seek some support and much prayer. I have been an emotional train wreck the last week in regards to Brian going underway next week. I really have been trying to concentrate on the time we have together and enjoy it but I am really dreading the lonesomeness that is to come. "Be tough! BE TOUGH! GRR! BE TOUGHHH!" I tell myself every day. I promise myself every day that today is the day that I am not going to cry over it, and then we will get something in the mail like "Dealing with Deployment" or we have to make some decision ahead of time to prepare for while he is away....and thats when I break. My poor loving husband has been so supportive and holds me while I cry. I think of the woman that go without their husbands for up to a year or more and even the wives that leave behind their own precious children to serve their country- how do they cope? Brian will only be away for 3 months, but three months without hugs, kisses, my chest on his head at night, bumming around our house, or meeting new friends in the area together makes me want to crawl in a little hole and wait it out. I know I need to get bold, meet more people, get involved, and keep busy- that is for sure! I would really appreciate all the prayer that we can get.

Pray for:
-Our marriage and communication
-Brian's safety
-My confidence and independence
-My job hunting and activity hunting
-Friends
-Our trust in God
-and much much more :)

Some things that I am grateful for:

-Such a loving husband that puts up with my ridiculous emotions
-The Coast Guard family and their support
-Support of family and friends
-GPS technology (this area is very confusing and big to drive around):)
-a great house
-Brian's job security
-Brian having a few days off of work before they leave
-and much much more :)

Get a dog for that cute backyard.

Take up daily blogging.

Spend some extra time at the farm over the fourth.

Read. (Go to your library - lots of free, fun activities there.)

I think I have cousins where you live now. They're cool. You canmeet them.

It's not easy being apart, but you can totally do it and come through stronger and closer on the other side.
I will definitely be praying for you guys. What day does he take off next week? I'm sorry it's taking me so long to get the pictures edited, but I'd love to get them to you before you're apart. Let me know.

Hey Sarah,

We will be praying for you, I know it's going to be hard, but "This is me" (I think, that's Lacey) had some great advice.. keep busy and the time will go by so fast, he'll be back before you know it :-) And, seek support from Maggie, it's nice having someone who is going through the same thing, especially when it's someone close to you like a sister :)
