Can someone say, Pumpkin?

My husband makes me smile and laugh and feel giddy inside…..

Because he one silly fella....

A silly fella obsessed with anything and everything pumpkin related.

It all started last week when we made pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, which lead to him making a delicious pumpkin pie shortly there after. But, that was just the beginning. Then came Friday. Let me describe last Friday to you.....

Brian was out and about dropping off some equipment for work, so he stopped to get a pumpkin coffee and a pumpkin muffin at Dunkin Donuts. He comes home and says we need to go to the pumpkin patch to get our carving pumpkin for this year. On the way, he tells me we have to stop by Dunkin Donuts so I can try their pumpkin coffee, so we get the coffee AND top it off with their pumpkin donut. We go to our local pumpkin patch, pick out our perfectly round and orange friend (aren't you glad I didn't say pumpkin). Then we proceed to Kroger’s to find some food for dinner. "Oh look, they sell Dunkin Donuts Pumpkin Spice ground coffee here, lets get it!" We make it home from the pumpkin adventure and relax by drinking Shipyard's pumpkin beer (take note: he bought about every type of pumpkin beer ever brewed earlier that week). “Can we make pumpkin bread for breakfast tomorrow?”

Come to our house and you are guaranteed to be greeted with the aroma of sweet pumpkin. I mean we do have a pumpkin candle, of course. And check out our totally awesome Hokie Bird pumpkin'o'lantern on your way in.
