You know, I am pretty dang fond of my husband. I was excited yesterday when I got to tag along with him to a SAR demo that he was MCing at Summerfest. I was equally excited that he was going to be looking super studly in his uniform. It was a really awesome experience seeing the helicopter hover over the water and the rescue swimmer lifting Oscar the dummy out from the questionable waters of summerfest cove. Lots of summerfesters ended up congregating over to the water to watch, everyone "ooohing and awing." I am really looking forward to the Milwaukee air and water show in August where I will get to see more Coast Guard displays.
