Dear Critta

Dear Critta,

We have made it to the single digit weeks until we meet you. That is if you are on time...you better be on time you hear! This week I hit 31 weeks and with that came the real feeling of pregnancy. I said farewell to the magical "pregnancy is awesome, lets have 20 more kids"  feeling and said hello to heartburn, back aches, butt aches, shooting pains, can't  bend over, take halfway break up two flights of stairs, ask husband to tie my sneakers pregnancy fun.

You are getting so strong in there. Seriously, some days I think you are trying to escape out of my abdomen. I think it is just about the most precious thing ever despite the fact that you often wake me up kicking my ribs. I love watching you shake, rattle, and roll in there.

We are so ready to meet you. Your Dad often will say, "can she just come out already so I can hold her!" I agree with him, well 80% of the time. Ten percent of the time I get scared, realizing that I know nothing about babies and that there is  a pretty high chance that you are going to cry and poop at some point. Another 10% of the time I realize I need to simply enjoy these last few childless days just your Dad and I. I get so anxious to meet you and forget to just enjoy; enjoy the present.

I still continue to pray for you everyday. I pray that we will be Godly examples to you so that you will grow up to be loving and kind. I pray that you will enjoy being a part of our family and that we will be close. I pray for your health and well being...and yes, I even pray that you are an easy baby that sleeps at night. I mean, that last one can't hurt, right?

I don't think I can express how much I love you and how much I look forward to getting to know you.

See you soon!

Yo Momma!
